What Natural Pest Control Do We Use?

At Altraspray, we use completely biodegradable products derived from the Chrysanthemum plant which are safe for families, pets and plants but also very effective against cockroaches, spiders, ants and a range of other pests.

Our natural pest control products contain a compound that has pyrethrin, a naturally occurring substance that’s found in some species of chrysanthemum. Pyrethrin over-excites the nervous system of pests, quickly causing paralysis and death.

Although extremely effective in pest control, mammals have little to fear from pyrethrin. In most cases, pyrethrin can be handled, (and even accidentally ingested), without severe consequences.

Whilst we always ensure our pest control services are completed when children, pets and members of the public are elsewhere, the low toxicity of pyrethrin makes it ideal for use in settings where a more toxic insecticide might be unsuitable.

Once you call us, we’ll take some basic details and then arrange a convenient time to visit your premises.

On-site, we'll assess the nature and extent of your pest problem, including accurately identifying the types of pests that are causing the problem.

Once we've got all the information we need, we'll come up with a suitable elimination plan, that we'll discuss with you in detail.
